Kaspersky AntiVirus allows users the option to receive live updates from the Internet via FTP, PASV FTP or HTTP. Additionally, failed downloads are automatically retried utilizing one of the four preconfigured update sites. AntiVirus runs in the background, and is virtually invisible. Kaspersky AntiVirus Plug-in is able to detect and disinfect viruses traveling via TNEF (Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format) attachments. Microsoft Outlook uses Rich Text Format (RTF) and TNEF as a standard delivery method. Warning messages can be sent to email senders, recipients, and postmasters upon the detection of a virus if WinGate's email server is being utilized. Additionally, if a virus is detected during web browsing, the user is notified with a warning. Kaspersky AntiVirus 2.0 for WinGate can log events to a WinGate managed log file. This is useful if you want to keep track of what is going on, who is being blocked, what requests are being allowed, or if you need to diagnose issues. You can now create custom HTML responses that users will see if traffic is blocked due to virus infection. Protect WinGate Now! |
Product Review by TechStudio"I immediately noticed the internet speed was way better than without the proxy server. Also, better administration and security measures can now be implemented to block certain websites and internet services, so you will have a more productive and secure working environment."
