WorldClient — Webmail for MDaemon

MDaemon stores messages and groupware collaboration data centrally on the email server. WorldClient allows you to share email folders, calendars with free/busy scheduling, contacts, distribution lists, tasks, notes, and documents between users. When paired with MDaemon Connector for Outlook, these groupware items can be displayed in Microsoft Outlook and shared with other Connector users.

Users can enter personalized signatures, set up out-of-office messages, flag messages for follow-up, compose messages in plain text or HTML (including inline images), and spell check with a local customizable dictionary.

WorldClient can be displayed in over 25 different languages, ensuring that your offices around the globe can communicate in their native languages.

Users can create unlimited personal folders and sorting filters, enabling WorldClient to automatically organize messages on the fly. Filtering rules can be created based on sender, recipient, size, content, and more.

Select multiple files and attach them to a message via a simple drag and drop method for greater productivity. Supported in both the WorldClient and LookOut themes using HTML5-enabled browsers such as Chrome and Firefox.

WorldClient supports adding inline images in composed HTML messages. There are four ways to add an image:

• In the HTML editor, click the Image toolbar button and select the upload tab.
• Click the Add image toolbar button in the HTML editor.
• Drag and drop an image into the HTML editor (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or IE 10+).
• Copy and paste an image from the clipboard (Chrome, Firefox, or IE 11+).

WorldClient allows users to search their inbox and other mail folders (including tasks, contacts, and notes) by sender, recipient, subject, and content.

WorldClient allows users to create multiple personal and public address books, sharing some contacts while keeping others private.

Manage appointments and important dates with the built-in calendar with free/busy integration. Use the Scheduling feature to add multiple appointment attendees while avoiding scheduling conflicts.

The WorldClient and LookOut themes include the ability to display calendars side-by-side for easier comparison and scheduling.

The Tasks list helps you track important to-dos with progress, status, and due dates. Tasks can be prioritized by importance, marked as private, and assigned to different categories.

Document sharing provides a central repository for files accessed and shared by designated users. Document folders have full ACL controls for setting permissions and sharing rules (read only, edit, or full control). All file types are supported, and improved search makes it easy to find shared documents by file name.

WorldClient's Contacts and Distribution List management gives quick access to all personal and public address books from one place.

The WorldClient Mobile theme allows MDaemon users to access email, calendar, contacts, tasks, and notes on any smartphone or tablet. The Mobile theme is optimized for smaller screens.

The included Instant Messenger (ComAgent) plug-in runs in the background and checks your account for new mail by querying the server directly — eliminating the need to keep a browser open. It displays your mail folders, message counts, and can launch WorldClient to display a specific folder, the first unread message, or your calendar.

MDaemon Instant Messenger (ComAgent) provides two-way address book synchronization between MDaemon and the Outlook/Outlook Express address book on each user's local computer — keeping both in sync automatically.

WorldClient's WorldClient and LookOut themes include a built-in IM chat option that operates within the same browser window. View your buddy list and chat with IM buddies from any browser, just as with the MDaemon Instant Messenger (ComAgent) desktop application.

Create pre-written common messages or regularly used blocks of text to insert into messages. Email templates are ideal for frequently sent responses or commonly used sets of instructions.

RelayFax Network Fax Manager enables faxes to be sent directly from within WorldClient's LookOut theme to leverage web-based faxing capabilities. (LookOut theme feature only.)
