Go into your iPhone's 'Settings' and then select 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars'.
Select 'Add Account'...
...and then 'Other' from the list.
Fill in the details...
Name: Your name Address: Your email address Password: Your MDaemon account password Description: Whatever you like here, but typically your email address or name
...and click 'Save'
On the 'New Account' screen, select IMAP (IMAP is far better than POP) and complete the details as follows:-
Incoming Mail Server Host Name: Your server's IP address or host name User Name: Your email address Password: Your MDaemon account password (this should be completed already)
Outgoing Mail Server Host Name: Your server's IP address or host name again User Name: Your email address again Password: Your MDaemon account password again
...and click 'Save'.
If you get the following error simply click 'Yes' to continue
Once done, you should be back to the following screen showing your new email account.
Select the new account, then scroll down and click the 'SMTP' button because we want to check that it's selected the correct SMTP port to use.
Click on the 'Primary Server' button to view the server details.
In almost all cases, your 'Server Port' should be set to 25.
Before we can configure the iPhone to use your MDaemon account's server side IMAP folders for Sent, Draft and Deleted items, we need to access your account from the iPhone so that it can synchronise the folder list. To do this, simply go back to your iPhone's home screen and then go into your Mail.
Click the 'Mailboxes' button and you should see the same folders that you see in your WorldClient account.
Now go back into your email settings as described above, select your email account, scroll down and click 'Advanced'.
Configure the 'Mailbox Behaviours' as shown below:-
And that's it!
