What is the difference between the Demonstration
or Evaluation version of eScan and Fully Licensed eScan software?
The two software are actually identical. However, without a
Licence Key eScan will expire (stop working) after 30 days from
installation.

How frequently is eScan's Virus Database updated? MicroWorld's Web and
FTP sites are normally updated once every day. On certain occasions, these may
be updated more frequently, in response to a virus epidemic (e.g.- the Love-Bug

Why can't I see the eScan icons in the system tray when I connect with a remote desktop connection to the eScan Server? When you access a Windows2003 machine through RDP you are logged in as the same user but onto a different session. The current logged in user is not logged off as in XP.
To get around this issue, please use the following command to remote desktop into the machine:
- Goto Start>>Run.
- Type in "mstsc -v <server-ip> /console" and press OK.

Why don't I have the "Proactive Scanning" option?
